Clinic Re-opening
posted on: Apr 26th, 2020 category:community, newsWe are happy to announce that we have re-opened our clinic and returned to providing patient care as of Monday, April 6, 2020.
We have also begun offering Telehealth visits. During our inaugural week of this service, we are getting great responses from our patients. We are happy to offer Telehealth care to you if you are unable to come to the clinic for care.
Physical Therapy has been designated an essential service by the Department of Homeland Security and our care can prevent patients from needing to access more complex environments such as emergency rooms and hospitals.
During this period we have reduced capacity in our clinic by 50% to provide greater social distancing and are doing temperature checks of all patients and staff. We are also continuing the best practices for hygiene; continuous and ongoing disinfection of shared surfaces; and, providing daily updates and education for staff.
Health officials continue to urge everyone to take steps to protect those who are at the highest risk of contracting coronavirus — older adults and anyone with a serious health condition or compromised immune system. We are asking everyone in the community to take steps to protect themselves and others by washing hands often, safely covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home if you feel sick.
We appreciate your patience during this extraordinary time. The circumstances and challenges are changing daily. What remains constant is our commitment to the health and well-being of the community. We will keep you updated as new developments emerge. We are committed to your health and look forward to continuing to provide care to our patients.
